PARIS, FRANCE
As wonderful as England is, Paris is simply magical. The people are charming, the food is superb, children are allowed to be children and there is a sense of love of life and love of beauty that envelopes the city. If the Britons conquerored the world, it was the French who civilized it! From a wonderful 7 course lunch at the Zagat's guide "top restaurant in Paris"- Taillvent, to an amazing evening at the Paris Opera's Palais Garnier to see an enchanting performance of Mozart's "Magic Flute", the city of lights found its way into our hearts
On our first Sunday in Paris, we attended an organ concert at Notre Dame Cathedral (below). Notre Dame's construction was decided upon in 1160 and had modification made during the 13th and 19th century. It was magnifcent to hear the impressive 7,000 pipe organ in this ancient cathedral.
