MY TRIP TO MENDOCINO, CALIFORNIA
By Darwin Allgaier-Hawn
My dads took me to Mendocino California for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of life in San Francisco.  I had a really good time.  I got to spend time with my dads, hang out at a really nice country inn that loves dogs, sniff around their really pretty garden, visit the ocean, sleep, and I had my first canoe ride!  We wanted to go to a nearby state park and do some hiking, but they wouldn't let me on the trails (Humph!)  Oh well....their loss!

I saw a buck swimming in the river, some vultures eating a deer carcass (I would have given anything to roll in it!), some herons, a kingfisher and a bunch of other stuff.

I put this picture album together so my friends can see how nice a time I had.
This is me on the balcony of our room, overlooking the gardens of the Stanford Inn, with a real pretty view of the ocean
